After The Fold
After the Fold is a series of six photographs which portray a poignant moment that is repeating itself across the globe- the closing of a business and the eerie sense of place without its workers.
I had a personal experience with this when a company that I had worked for, Hearst Magazines, folded the magazine for which I was the Photo Editor. After 10 years, my daily life shifted completely. With two weeks given to us to gather our emotions, our memories and finish our work, the space that held part of our creativity and a large portion of our time was emptied out and became devoid of identity.
